Outlanders is an upcoming free-to-play, adventure-based medieval MMORPG for PC (Windows). The game features low poly graphics, an open world map, character customization, guilds, PVP, a karma system, user-created quests, mounts, pets, and more. Players begin with identical, non-valuable items and can enhance them through defeating monsters or other players. As players progress, they gain experience and improve their proficiency in combat and weapon use. Additionally, Outlanders integrates blockchain technology (BSC) to record and secure ownership of game-related digital assets earned or purchased by players such as NFTs (e.g. weapons, gear) and cryptocurrency ($LAND).
Game Features
- Character Customization: Players can personalize their avatars with options for height, face, hairstyle, skin tone, and clothing.
- Player-Created Quests: Players can participate in game-generated quests or create their own, setting rewards and sharing them with others on the city board.

Blockchain Integration
WhitepaperOutlanders features some form of decentralized governance and a partially player-owned economy where players can effectively own and trade various game-related digital assets (e.g. weapons, gear, cryptocurrency) outside of the game, using smart contracts built on the BSC blockchain to record and secure transactions thereof. The game also has its own cryptocurrency, $LAND, which serves as a medium of exchange, a reward coin, and a governance token.
Outlanders is not open source. While ownership of digital assets is decentralized and secured on the blockchain, users may not be able to run the game in the event that its online service is prematurely shut down.
