Pixel Heroes Adventure is a free-to-play MMORPG for mobile (Android, iOS). Blending farming mechanics and strategic hack-and-slash combat, the game features vibrant pixel graphics, and a rich progression system where players combine skills, collect heroes, pets, and equipment, and engage in PVP and PVE battles, including against bosses in various dungeons. Additionally, Pixel Heroes Adventure integrates blockchain technology (Ethereum/Ronin) to record and secure ownership of game-related assets, namely NFTs and cryptocurrencies, and to support decentralized governance.
Game Features
- Adventure Mode: Spanning 12 regions with 5 stages each, Adventure Mode challenges players to defeat a variety of monsters and bosses to advance through the game.
- Multiple Dungeons: Various dungeon types granting distinct rewards, with party dungeons letting teams of up to 4 take on 12 powerful regional bosses.
- PVE and PVP: Players can engage in single-player and coop PvE combat or PvP battles in certain open field or dungeon areas.
- World Raid: In large-scale World Raids, up to 30 players team up to defeat powerful raid bosses, earning raid-specific equipment, loot, and skill books.
- Scout Mode: Players deploy their pets (ToyZ) on expeditions to gather resources such as attribute elements and seasonal soul stones, which can be used for crafting or trading.
- Pets (ToyZ System): ToyZ are time-limited pets that provide buffs and skills, enhancing combat strategies. Players can strengthen ToyZ through in-game activities for added advantages in battle.
- In-Game Trading: Players can trade valuable items and resources they collect with other players.
Blockchain Integration
WhitepaperPixel Heroes Adventure aims to feature decentralized governance, and a partially player-owned economy where players can effectively own and trade many game-related digital assets (e.g. characters, pets, items, cryptocurrencies) outside of the game, using smart contracts built on the Ethereum blockchain (using Ronin) to record and secure transactions and ownership thereof. The game also has its own cryptocurrencies, $ADVTR, which plays a key role in staking, payments, and community governance and $MGOLD, which serves as the decentralized version of in-game currency MGOLD.
Pixel Heroes Adventure is not open source. While ownership of digital assets may be decentralized and secured on the blockchain, users may not be able to run the game in the event that its online service is prematurely shut down.
