Ordinem is a free-to-play is a strategic trading card game (CCG) for PC (Windows) by Playa3ull Games, inspired by well-known titles such as Magic: The Gathering and Hearthstone. Players engage in battles using cards from five distinct magical ‘orders,’ casting spells, summoning creatures, and crafting artifacts to defeat opponents. Players begin with a free base deck, allowing access to the game’s core mechanics, while additional cards can be earned through victories or purchased using in-game currency. Ordinem features a play-and-earn model, rewarding skilled gameplay with 3ULL coins. Ordinem employs blockchain technology (Playa3ull, Avalanche) to record and secure ownership of in-game assets such as NFTs (e.g. skins, emotes, PFP) and cryptocurrency ($3ULL).
Game Features
- Five Orders of Magic: Players can choose from cards representing five magical orders, each offering unique abilities, spells, and creatures.
- Base Deck and Card Packs: Every player starts with a free deck, which can be expanded by purchasing new packs through the marketplace using 3ULL coins.
- Strategic Deck Building: Success in Ordinem requires careful card combination to counter opponents’ strategies, balancing offense and defense.
- Mythical Races: Players command one of four mythical races, enhancing the game’s lore and strategic depth.
- Play-and-Earn Mechanics: By winning matches, players can earn 3ULL coins, which may be used to acquire new card packs or in-game items.
Blockchain Integration
Ordinem features some form of decentralized governance through DAOs (Decentralized Autonomous Organizations) and a partially player-owned economy where players can effectively own and trade many in-game digital assets (e.g. skins, emotes, PFP, cryptocurrency) outside of the game, using smart contracts built on the Playa3ull and Avalanche blockchains. The game integrates the $3ULL cryptocurrency, which serves as a primary in-game currency, a reward token and a governance token across the Playa3ull web3 ecosystem.
Ordinem is not open source. While ownership of digital assets is decentralized and secured on the blockchain, users may not be able to run the game in the event that its online service is prematurely shut down.
Ownable (NFTs)
- Cosmetic NFT Cards: Players can own cosmetic versions of game cards, differentiated by rarity and design, though these cards do not offer any gameplay advantages.
- Character Avatars & Skins: Custom avatars and skins are available as NFTs, enhancing the visual experience without impacting gameplay performance.
- Emotes: Players can also purchase emotes as NFTs, further personalizing their interactions within the game.
Cryptocurrency
$3ULL serves as the primary currency for the Playa3ull Games ecosystem, including Ordinem. It is designed as a deflationary cryptocurrency with a built-in burn mechanism and is used as a medium of exchange for in-game purchases and marketplace transactions, and as a reward token, a DeFi token (staking, nodes) and a governance token, granting DAO voting rights. It is a fungible, Avalanche-based token limited to a total original supply of 50,000,000,000. The different ways to get $3ULL outside of crypto markets are… (read more)
