Ev.io is a free-to-play first-person shooter (FPS) built on the Solana blockchain. Developed by Addicting Games, it combines fast-paced arena-style combat with an emphasis on skill-based gameplay. Set in a futuristic world, Ev.io draws inspiration from classic shooters like Halo and Destiny, offering players a unique blend of strategic gunplay, movement mechanics, and ability usage. Ev.io integrates blockchain technology (Solana) to record and secure ownership of digital assets purchased by players, namely NFT assets (e.g. weapons, armor sets, skins) and cryptocurrency. Ev.io integrates the $SOL cryptocurrency, serving as a medium of exchange, a player reward and a governance token.
Game Features

Blockchain Integration
Ev.io features some form of decentralized governance, letting users vote on key decisions, and a partially player-owned economy where users can effectively own and trade valuable in-game digital assets (e.g. weapons, armor, skins, cryptocurrency) outside of the game, using smart contracts built on the Solana blockchain to record and secure transactions and ownership of said assets. Ev.io integrates the $SOL cryptocurrency as a medium of exchange for game NFTs as well as for player reward and governance purposes.
Ev.io doesn’t appear to be open source. While ownership of digital assets are decentralized and secured on the blockchain, users may not be able to run the game in the event that its online service is prematurely shut down.
Ownable (NFTs)
- Weapon & Character Skins: Players can purchase NFT-based weapon and character skins, which can upgraded and traded or rented out to other players on the Solana blockchain.
- Armors: Players can customize their character with NFT armor sets that enhance their abilities and aesthetics in the game.

Cryptocurrency
$SOL is the cryptocurrency that Ev.io uses to fuel its ecosystem.
