Ether Strike is an upcoming fast-paced, action-packed shooter game for PC (Windows, Mac) set in a futuristic environment. Players step into the role of battle-hardened warriors, armed with over 20 different weapons, to engage in combat across dynamic game modes. The game’s core focus is on skill-based combat, where kill streaks contribute to progressing through a ranking system. Ether Strike is part of the Zeus game ecosystem, which integrates blockchain technology (Ethereum, Skale) to record and secure ownership of digital assets earned or purchased by players, namely NFT assets (e.g. characters, weapons, skins) and cryptocurrency ($ZEUS).
Game Features
- Customization: Extensive character and weapon customization. By connecting a crypto wallet, players can modify their avatars and weapons, enhancing both appearance and functionality.
- Team Deathmatch: Teams compete to get the most eliminations within a set time.
- Free For All: A solo mode where players fight individually to reach the highest number of eliminations.
- Capture the Flag: Teams defend their flag while attempting to steal the opponent’s flag​.
Blockchain Integration
WhitepaperEther Strike features partially decentralized governance using DAOs, and a partially player-owned economy where players can effectively own and trade digital assets (e.g. characters, weapons, skins, currency) outside of the game, using smart contracts built on the Ethereum blockchain (using Skale) to record and secure transactions and ownership of said assets. Ether Strike also has its own cryptocurrency, $ZEUS, which mostly serves as a DAO governance token.
Ether Strike isn’t open source. While ownership of digital assets and governance are decentralized and secured on the blockchain, users may not be able to run the game in the event that its online service is prematurely shut down.
