One Tap is a free-to-play, character-based first-person shooter FPS for PC (Windows) by Qorbi World. Players take on the role of super-soldier “agents” and engage in combat across various maps and modes, such as the flagship 1v1 multi-map arena mode. The game combines fast-paced shooting mechanics with strategic elements, such as utilizing utility pets that grant unique abilities in battle. Additionally, One Tap integrates blockchain technology (Ethereum, Immutable X) to record and secure ownership of game-related digital assets earned or purchased by players such as NFTs (e.g. pets, skins, passes) and cryptocurrency ($QORBI).
Game Features
- Diverse Game Modes: One Tap offers multiple game modes, including 1v1 duels in Arena Mode, fast-paced eliminations in Deathmatch, progressive weapon challenges in Gun Master, team-based objectives in Search and Destroy, and a mix of PvE and PvP action in Exterminator.
- Utility Pets: Pets play a critical role in gameplay by granting agents unique abilities that can be used once per round. Pets are divided into roles, including Flank for speed or stealth enhancements, Tank for damage reduction or area control, Support for stat boosts, healing, or defense, and Damage for offensive capabilities.
- Extensive Weapon Arsenal: The game features a wide range of firearms and melee weapons, each with distinct characteristics such as fire rate, damage, and recoil. Weapon categories include handguns, submachine guns, assault rifles, sniper rifles, shotguns, rocket and grenade launchers, and melee options like knives and axes.
- Dynamic Maps: Maps are designed for competitive play and feature diverse environments, including Toxic, Egyptian, Antarctica, Castle, and Volcano maps. Each map introduces unique challenges, such as environmental hazards like toxic gas, quicksand, or traps.
- Tactical Gameplay: Players must combine precise shooting with strategic planning. Effective use of utility pets and adaptation to environmental hazards are essential to gaining an advantage in combat.
Blockchain Integration
WhitepaperOne Tap aims to feature a partially player-owned economy where players can effectively own and trade various game-related digital assets (e.g. utility pets, weapon skins, cryptocurrency) outside of the game, using smart contracts built on the Ethereum and Immutable X blockchains to record and secure transactions and ownership thereof. The game integrates Qorbi World’s native cryptocurrency, $QORBI, which serves as a medium of exchange, a reward coin, and a governance token.
One Tap is not open source. While ownership of digital assets is decentralized and secured on the blockchain, users may not be able to run the game in the event that its online service is prematurely shut down.
