Immortal Rising 2 is a free-to-play idle role-playing game (RPG) for mobile (iOS, Android) that combines traditional gameplay elements with decentralized technology. Set in a fantasy world where players embody powerful immortals, the game focuses on character development, resource management, and competitive PvP elements. Immortal Rising 2 integrates blockchain technology (Ethereum, Immutable) to record and secure ownership of digital assets earned or purchased by players, namely NFT assets (e.g. characters, items, quests) and cryptocurrency. Immortal Rising 2 has its own cryptocurrency ($IMT), NFT marketplace, and decentralized autonomous organization (DAO).
Game Features

WhitepaperImmortal Rising 2 features some form of decentralized governance and a partially player-owned economy where players can effectively own and trade most in-game digital assets (e.g. characters, items, quests, cryptocurrency) in and outside of the game, using smart contracts built on the Ethereum blockchain (using Immutable) to record and secure transactions and ownership thereof. The game also has its own cryptocurrency, $IMT, which serves as a medium of exchange for NFTs, as a reward token for staking, and as a governance token, fuelling DAO protocols.
Immortal Rising 2 is not open source. While ownership of digital assets is decentralized and secured on the blockchain, users may not be able to run the game in the event that its online service is prematurely shut down.
Ownable (NFTs)
- Characters: These represent unique in-game immortals with different stats and attributes that can be improved over time.
- Items: Weapons, armor, and other equipment exist as NFTs, providing players with the ability to trade or sell powerful in-game items.
