Ascend the End is a third-person shooter (TPS) for PC (Windows/Mac) by Wasiona Studio. The game blends fast-paced action with strategic survival elements set in a post-apocalyptic world, where players fight their way through hostile environments, leveraging skill, strategy, and teamwork. The immersive gameplay is complemented by blockchain integration (Ethereum), allowing players to own, trade, and earn valuable in-game assets through NFTs (e.g. weapons, armor, skins, cryptocurrency) and cryptocurrency ($ASCEND).

Blockchain Integration

Ascend the End features a partially player-owned economy where players can effectively own and trade most in-game digital assets (e.g. weapons, armor, skins, cryptocurrency) outside of the game, using smart contracts built on the Ethereum blockchain to record and secure transactions and ownership of said assets. Ascend the End also has its own cryptocurrency, $ASCEND, which serves as a medium of exchange for NFT assets minted and traded, and as a reward token for participation in the ecosystem.
Ascend the End is not open source. While ownership of digital assets is decentralized and secured on the blockchain, users may not be able to run the game in the event that its online service is prematurely shut down.

$ASCEND is the in-game cryptocurrency that powers the economy of Ascend the End.
