Technocore is a free-to-play drone infiltration game by Gunzilla Games for Mobile (Android, iOS). Players take on the role of a hacker and pilot a faulty security drone found on the spot to scan a sprawling desalination plant for valuable resources. The core game features an engaging drone upgrade system, immersive drone piloting in first and third person view, gear customization and crafting (NFT creation), play to earn mechanisms, and a leaderboard. Technocore integrates blockchain technology (Avalanche) to record and secure ownership of digital assets earned by players, namely NFT assets (e.g. weapons, skins) and cryptocurrency ($GUN).
Game Features
- Infiltration Gameplay: Players infiltrate a huge desalination plant loaded up with security turrets, using a faulty security drone hacked on the spot, and must extract their loot safety.
- Drone Flight & Upgrade: Players fly a sonar-equipped drone scanning for valuable resources, and can level up and upgrade different parts of their drone.
- Free-to-Play: The game can be fully enjoyed for free. No need to own any crypto or NFT neither.
- Play-to-Earn: Rewards may be earned in the form of cryptocurrency and NFTs.
- Leaderboard: Points are earned by players the more they play and level up. Once their drone is maxed out, in can be recycled and reinitialized for more points.
Blockchain Integration
DocumentsTechnocore features a partially player-owned economy where players can effectively own and trade most in-game digital assets (e.g. weapons, cosmetics, crates, cryptocurrency) outside of the game, using smart contracts built on the Avalanche blockchain (GUNZ subnet) to record and secure transactions and ownership of said assets. Technocore also has its own cryptocurrency, $GUN, which serves as a medium of exchange for NFT assets minted and traded on the GUNZ subnet, and as a reward token in all GUNZ-supported games.
Technocore isn’t currently open source. While ownership of digital assets is decentralized and secured on the blockchain, users may not be able to run the game in the event that its online service is prematurely shut down.
Ownable (NFTs)
- Weapons & Parts: NFT-backed weapon parts that players can extract in-game and trade or use to craft NFT weapons.
- Skins & Parts: NFT-backed cosmetic parts that players can extract in-game and trade or use to craft NFT skins.
- Crates: NFT crates (Hex) earned in-game, containing various NFT resources/parts required to craft and upgrade NFT items.
Cryptocurrency
$GUN is Technocore’s cryptocurrency, and that of all games built on the GUNZ blockchain (an Avalanche subnet).
